Outreach
Christians are called to be light, leaven and salt in our communities, offering caring service to others both in gratitude for and in witness to God’s love. At Good Shepherd, this is reflected in hands-on opportunities for service and in the portion of our budget dedicated for outreach ministries.
We strive to give of what we receive for God’s work in the community and in the world. These are some of the ministries we support.
Local Service Opportunities
This signature ministry of Christ Church operates every Saturday, a day when many social service agencies do not offer assistance. Lunch is provided and served by Good Shepherd volunteers on the first Saturday of each month.

Good Shepherd has a long partnership with brothers and sisters in Christ in Kenya most notably in the support of the Amagoro Junior Academy serving over 300 children and young people in the Village of Amagoro near the Ugandan border.
